Annual Electors Meeting
A statutory requirement of the Local Government Act 1995 is that each Council must have a Meeting of Electors once every financial year. The Shire usually holds its Annual Electors Meeting in March of each year prior to the March Ordinary Meeting of Council.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the contents of the annual report for the previous financial year and any other general business.
The Meeting is attended by the President, Councillors and Senior Officers who are happy to answer any questions that may arise.
