DrumMuster provides agricultural chemical users with a recycling pathway for eligible empty Agvet chemical containers. All containers are to be properly rinsed and cleaned before disposal. Any rinsing should be carried out immediately after emptying the containers, as residues are a lot harder to remove when dry. Under current regulations, containers that haven’t been properly rinsed can be classified as hazardous waste. 37,448 drums have been collected at Darkan since the inception of the program.
